Council provides a diverse number of services to the community and information such as name, address and contact numbers are important to the delivery of these services. Additionally , Council is further required to collect information under a wide range of State Government legislation, for instance applications for building and planning permits.
The information that you provide will remain for the use of Council and will not otherwise be disclosed except as required by law, for instance to State Government departments and agencies, or if consent is provided to do so. If you fail to provide personal information it may impact on the ability of Council to provide a service or services to you.
When browsing this site certain information regarding your visit is logged but this information is not personally identifiable and no attempt will be made to link it to individuals. Information gathered, eg. what pages are accessed or downloaded, may be used for statistical purposes and to evaluate the effectiveness of the site. If you send Maroondah City Council or Karralyka an email requesting further information then your email address will be used to satisfy this request. Karralyka does not have a secure site and any transmission of personal information is beset with the risks involved with using the internet.
